Miles I travel ’round these
cyberparts lurking here, there
leaving pieces of me everywhere.

Chuckling sounds, smiles abound
tears fall to the ground
no one but me around.

Stripped and teased and stripteased,
seductive words I read
out (loud), stretch and outstretch me.

No soul too bare nor wounds too raw
for this hometown lass
with home-grown sass

Poetry –
words, mere words
yet so much more…

Poets come and poets go
but poetry endures
with or without a witness.
