A sprinkle of salt smooths digestion
A bite of bitter aids detoxification
Bit of a buzz calms inhibition
A smidge of suspicion hones intuition
A touch of Tapatio heightens perception
What’s to savor with excess sweet?
What is victory without knowing defeat?
Give me the spice rack and
sugar to feast on a life
……………………………. complete.

Do you ever crave salsa?
Would you want to eat nothing but pie?
Isn’t life more full-bodied with all the ups, downs, sides and roundabouts that come with it?
Do we not learn to be thankful for the good by witnessing/experiencing/understanding the existence/reality/dangers of the not-so-good?

i like a little spice in life…smiles…and bringing out the flavors in the world around….
true that – can’t appreciate the sugar if that’s all you’ve got!
I like a little spice as well…and variety …but sweets are my weakness.
I actually do crave salsa — but only the really good, homemade kind. I eat it at every meal!
I know what you mean. Not-so-good salsa is disappointing.
love that photo… truly, you have to have the whole spice rack to enjoy the taste of all life offers.
My husband must be very perceptive. He could live off tapatio.
Good things come in many flavors.

Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
Charming and very true, you’ve added some welcome spice to a bland day.
You too? Then bring it all together with curry. Yum.
Mmmm, love curry! Mild, hot, medium, red, green, yellow…bring it on!
I am a food wimp. But, variety is the spice of life–if not the plate.
Salsa? A must in my household. Especially the salsa with Thai Chiles. It always livens up things…
I love the balance of sweet and spice!
awe…a little folksy medicine, food for thought and a reminder to restock the spice cupboard. Wonderful 55, Belinda ~
I’m a not and spicy gal myself. Fun verse!

Spice is good. Can you imagine life without it? Flat, dull and tasteless.
Loved this, Belinda!
Here’s to a full bodied life with lots of flavor!
Love Tapatio. But Pico Pica is pretty good too.
