Look Again

sofa

At first glance,
putresced bricks evoke
gray and gloom.
Look again.
Rainbow colors, maybe more,
await unearthing.

abandoned,
to tell a poem
re(a)d on brick:
crumbled time
disperses all our whispers
in belinda’s eyes.

(You present some of the most interesting challenges, and it’s so enjoyable to read what you’ve done with them! There seems to be a trend of abandoned -sofa photos of late in the blogs I’ve been reading–must be indicative of something, but not sure just what.)
